For the first time we are offering the Road Less Graveled as a 5 week evening class. If you’ve never been able to come to the workshop, or if you want more time to try nontraditional skills, this class is for you! And it’s FREE!!

This class is an expansion of the 17-year-old workshop exploring non-traditional work in trade and technical occupations as a means toward economic stability for women as well as men. This expanded class will provide career exploration, resource identification, and barrier reduction, as well as opportunities to try various trade and technical occupations, such as welding, construction, electrician, computer networking, engineering, process technology, instrumentation, and automotive technology. Local tradeswomen will demonstrate and teach skills and provide information about their careers. Participants will learn about training resources and employment options. (1.5 credits)
