In the 2005-2006 academic year, the College served over 8,000 students. In fall 2005, the student body was 52% female and 48% male, with 22% minority students, and the average student age was 28 years old. BTC served over 1,900 full-time equivalent students during the 2005-2006 academic year.

Foundation
The BTC Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization incorporated in 1987 to stimulate private support for the programs, needs, and enhancements of Bellingham Technical College.
Financial Aid
The College's Financial Aid Office can help students apply for a variety of federal and state grants, scholarships and loans. Over 40% of BTC students receive some type of financial assistance through grants, loans, or work-study.
