Bellingham Technical College is a comprehensive technical college located in the NW corner of WA state. The College offers over 50 associate degree and certificate options with many programs offering start dates each quarter. Founded in 1957 as Bellingham Vocational Technical Institute, operating within the Bellingham School District, the institution was designated a member of the Washington State Community and Technical College system and renamed Bellingham Technical College (BTC) in 1991 through WA State legislative action. The College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
