TUITION & FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE
Tuition & Fee Estimates are based on Resident Status, 21 credits unless otherwise specified. Canadian Tuition is 35% higher. Washington Online courses require an additional fee of $15.59 per credit.
Fall Quarter 2011 Tuition & Fees have been re-calculated using 2011-2012 tuition and fee rates as of August 1st, 2011 and now reflect the rate increases approved by the State of Washington.
Running Start
Running Start students who have either high school junior or
senior status and who are enrolling at BTC for credit toward a
high school diploma are not charged application fees or tuition.
They are responsible for purchasing any required textbooks,
tools, supplies, uniforms, and to pay any program/
course fees and laboratory/supply fees.

| RUNNING START Students pay fees only. Referral Form is required. Running Start students pay $7.04 fees per credit shown as a tuition line item plus program & course fees.
| RUNNING START WAIVER REQUEST $7.04 per credit in student fees are charged to Running Start students reflected as a tuition line item. Running Start students may submit a Running Start Waiver Request prior to the first day of the quarter to request that these fees will be waived if the student is eligible. A Running Start Waiver is good for the remainder of the school year if approved. Running Start students are required to pay program & course fees. The Running Start Waiver cannot waive program or course fees.
| CANADIAN tuition is 35% higher than US Resident tuition.
| NON-RESIDENT is defined as students who are residents of countries other than U.S. or Canada.
| CITIZENSHIP / RESIDENCY BTC is responsible for documenting the residency of students who are citizens of other countries and/or on a VISA who are enrolling in technical professional programs and courses. To that effect all students indicating non-US citizenship must provide evidence of current immigration status, and/or work with the international advisor to complete required residency paperwork. Students of countries other than the U.S. with certain VISA types or Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) status may qualify for resident tuition rate. To avoid paying increased tuition and to determine if you qualify to receive reduced or resident rates please contact the International Advisor at 360-752-8324.
| PROGRAM & COURSE FEES address distinct and specified costs such as lab assistants, supplies, materials, equipment, rentals, software licensing, replacement and upgrade, maintenance, and other operational costs.
| FINANCIAL AID is available through BTC Student Financial Services. Tuition & Fees are the responsibility of the Student. Students eligible for Financial Aid must contact the BTC Financial Aid Office to be sure file is complete.
| CLASS CANCELLATIONS may occur due to low enrollment. Full Refunds will be granted if BTC cancels a course.
| REFUND POLICY: Students in Programs/Credit Courses needing to drop or withdraw from courses, PLEASE REFER to the BTC REFUND POLICY posted on the Bellingham Technical College web site www.btc.ctc.edu and printed in the Bellingham Technical College Catalog and Quarterly Schedule. General Refund dates for classes starting at the beginning of the quarter are posted on the Campus Calendar online.
