Welcome to BTC! Registration staff provides a variety of services to support you in meeting your educational goals. We assist with processing your Class Registration, changes to your Class Schedule (Adds/Drops/Withdrawals), Official Transcripts, Enrollment Verifications and Degree/Certificate Verifications for program completion.
Each student has the responsibility to register each quarter by Registering Online or completing the registration form and submitting it to registration staff.
Registration Online is a great option! All you need is your student identification number (SID) and your PIN. Stop by the Registration Office for a demo to get you started! Full time students in Degree & Certificate programs can ask their program instructor to arrange a time for registration staff to come to your class.
Come in to the Registration Office in the College Services building! Office hours are posted to the right. We look forward to meeting you and assisting you as you navigate the registration system at Bellingham Technical College!
Mail, Phone and Fax are also options for Registering for classes. Please be aware that classes are available on a first come first serve basis. Timing may be an issue with these methods of registration. Note that withdrawals which take place after the class starts, requests for an exception of any type, and release of information are required to be in writing with the student’s signature.
A student is considered officially enrolled in a course or program by registering and paying all tuition and fees. Each student is responsible for payment and/or funding of tuition and fees. Students with unpaid tuition & fees will be dropped from classes. Students who fail to withdraw may be charged tuition & fees and will receive the grade earned for the class.

Registration Appointments for Continuing Degree & Certificate students are posted online approximately one week prior to the date posted on the BTC Campus Calendar.
Online Courses may start before or after the BTC quarter start date. Please check the BTC Campus Calendar for WAOL Online start and end dates and check your student schedule for the specific start and end dates for your classes. Note that Washington Online courses require payment of an additional fee for Washington Online services – this rate is posted under Tuition & Fees.
