How Do I Access Disability Support Services? (back to top)
Students seeking accommodations with documented disabilities need to make an appointment with the DSS Office and provide their documentation at least six weeks prior to starting a program or taking a class at BTC. You may stop by the Counseling and Career Services Center in College Services Building, Room 106, to make an appointment, or you may call and make an appointment at 360-752-8450. An initial Intake Appointment is required to discuss your specific accommodation request.
NOTE: “Documentation” is a document written by a licensed physical and/or licensed mental health care provider prepared within the last three years. Go to Documentation Guidelines for more details.
Any prospective or current students who are unsure of their disability or would like to speak with the Disabilities Counselor may call 360-752-8450 to make an appointment.
