Who is Served by DSS
Bellingham Technical College is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to current and prospective students with disabilities in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.
How Do I Access Disability Support Services?
Students seeking accommodations with documented disabilities need to make an appointment with the DSS Office and provide their documentation at least six weeks prior to starting a program or taking a class at BTC. You may stop by the Counseling and Career Services Center in College Services Building, Room 106, to make an appointment, or you may call and make an appointment at 360-752-8450. An initial Intake Appointment is required to discuss your specific accommodation request.
NOTE: "Documentation" is a document written by a licensed physical and/or licensed mental health care provider prepared within the last three years. Go to Documentation Guidelines for more details.
Any prospective or current students who are unsure of their disability or would like to speak with the Disabilities Counselor may call 360-752-8450 to make an appointment.
