The Learning Center supports students who are preparing to take the Accuplacer Assessment for entry into BTC College programs.
There are three classes that assist students with Accuplacer.
Adult Basic Education (ABE) are offered Mon.-Thurs., 8-11 a.m. and 12-3 p.m., and Mon. and Wed. evenings, 6-9 pm.
Study Skills is offered Tues/Thurs from 12- 3 pm. This class offers tutoring in reading, arithmetic, algebra, and sentence skills to prepare for the Accuplacer test.
Study Skills Online uses the A+dvancer software for Accuplacer preparation. Students should be within 10 points of the score needed on the Accuplacer to benefit from the software program.
