The Learning Center offers instruction in basic reading, writing, math, GED preparation, and Accuplacer preparation. Students work in small groups and individually at their own pace to improve their basic academic skills and meet their occupational and life goals. Skills needed for success in today's workforce are integrated throughout the Program.

Methods of instruction include small group instruction, individual tutoring, and computer and video-aided instruction.

Those with goals to improve their basic skills for job advancement, college entry, or GED testing are welcome. To be successful in the program, students will need a positive attitude, regular attendance, and the ability to work independently and in small groups.

See Learning Center Orientation Schedule.
