Honoring Those Sharing the gift of education:
This year, three new scholarship endowments were established to support the students of Bellingham Technical College.

  Douglas Blair Memorial Scholarship
The Douglas Blair Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of Douglas Blair who served with distinction on the Bellingham School Board from 1955 to 1972. Blair firmly believed in the value of vocational and technical education and its importance to the community. He derived great satisfaction from his role in establishing Bellingham Technical College in 1957. The endowment, sponsored by David and Cheryll Blair, supports scholarships for BTC students.
