I have an SID, but don’t know what it is. Look it up!
If you have forgotten your SID, you may also use the Request an SID feature.
If you are NEW and do not have an SID yet, select the student type which best describes you.
Use the Washington State Online Application to apply to BTC. We will email your SID and PIN to you and let you know what your next step is. This will also begin to establish your residency status for State Funded classes.
Basic Academic Skills (including Adult Basic Education, English as a Second Language, and GED students).
Attend a Basic Skills department Orientation to take ABE, ESL or GED classes. You will be assigned an SID and PIN during the orientation and register for classes.
Continuing Education Students Request an SID or submit a Registration form if all you want to take are self-support Continuing & Community Education classes. If you register into a state funded credit class, you will be asked to apply to BTC.
