Resource Development Corporation is a key player in the training and development area of the petroleum, petrochemical and power industry in the United States, Canada and internationally.
RDC was the creator of the American Petroleum Institute's "Pilot" series training materials that were used throughout
the petroleum industry as part of the U.S. Department of Labor process operator apprenticeship programs in the 1970's and 1980's.
The Pilot series has been updated in the last decade and converted to an eLearning platform, accessed via the Internet. The RDC modules have been adopted by the majority of major U.S. and multinational energy companies as a mainstay of their basic employee training for hydrocarbon processing as well as exploration and productions (E&P) operations.
The PTEC program at Bellingham Technical College uses the full library of eLearning modules from RDC as a content enrichment and eLabs. Students are required throughout the two year degree program to complete eLab modules including pre and post-test activities.
