Program Description The Hypnotherapy program instructs students in the process
of using hypnosis techniques in a professional setting for such
purposes as pain management, behavior modification, and
many other psychological and social concerns clients may
have. The Hypnotherapy program also extensively covers the
legal and ethical issues involved. Hypnotherapists work in a
variety of healthcare settings, as doctors, dentists, nurses,
psychologists and psychiatrists, just to name a few. This
course is approved by the International Medical and Dental
Hypnotherapy Associates and the National Society of Clinical
Hypnotherapists.

Degree & Certificate Requirements Courses Listed Alphabetically | Typical Student Schedule Courses are held in the evening, generally from 6:00pm to 9:00pm one evening per week. Courses must be taken in sequence: HYPN 101, HYPN 102, and HYPN 103. See a Quarterly Schedule for specific course offered.

Program Outcomes Completers of this program will be able to

other psychological and social concerns clients may have.
Application & Registration Program application and admission are not required. Students begin the program by registering in the Basic Hypnosis course in order to begin the sequence on a space available basis. It is recommended that students have good basic academic skills.
