Carla Greketis-Dunn
Carla Greketis-Dunn has taught Early Childhood courses for BTC since 1999. She currently co-teaches the Child Development Essentials (CDA) short certificate program and the ECED 112: STARS: Basics in Child Care course. Carla has taught early childhood coursework at the two year and four year college level, has been a director of two child care centers, and served as a child development specialist for the Air Force.
Carla has held positions in early childhood in government, private agencies, and colleges. She currently teaches for Bellingham Technical College, Whatcom Community College, and Western Washington University.

Cynthia Johansen
Cindy teaches in the Early Childhood Education department at BTC. She co-teaches the Child Development Essentials (CDA) short certificate program and ECED 112: STARS: Basics in Child Care course. She has a Masters degree in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College and a Bachelors degree in Special Education from Western Washington University and has taught early childhood courses in Whatcom County for many years.
Cindy is also adjunct faculty in the Early Childhood Education Program at Whatcom Community College. She has had prior work experience as the Head of Gardenview Montessori School, as an instructional assistant in a school district, as a special education preschool teacher, and as a University Intern Coordinator (student teacher supervisor) for Western Washington University.
